Position: Sr. Operations Manager - FMCG
Location: Ethiopia
Reporting to the East Africa Country Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handling & Monitoring General Trade,
- Key Account Management for all the above sales categories including Cash & Carry formats.
- Prepare roadmap independently and ability to exceed primary and secondary sales targets through distributors & sales team month on month.
- Meeting volume and value objectives of the assigned territory within budget, time and policy parameters through efficient control of the distributor network and staff.
- Guiding the Business Development Officers to appoint and sustain profitable distributor partners.
- Staff recruitment.
- Target based performance.
- Appointing new Distributors for all above categories.
- Analyzing market trends, pricing and competitor's movement & maintaining Sales performance.
- Handling and Managing Sales Team & Distributors. Ensuring Achievement of Targets.
- Planning and implementing product demos, local campaigns and sales promotions to various star hotels, serviced apartments, Housing societies, corporate etc..
- Should be able to appoint sales force under him
- Participating in various exhibitions & events.
- Making pitches, conducting events and presentations for generating sales.
- Developing a Strong relationship with Key customers & Trade Partners.
- Preparing indent & ensuring availability of material with coordination with Commercial & Logistic Department.
- MIS reports in all sales channels
- Define and promote the positioning of all company brand.
- Managing entire operations and various teams from multiple cities relating to company sales, marketing & operations.
- Managing, foreseeing and successfully implementing various new product launches across India.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and sales enhancing projects.
- Develop marketing materials; set up strategic partnerships.
- Assess the impact of the marketing strategies; measure the effectiveness of the sales activities.
- Should have had hands-on experience in marketing launches, using marketing channels to create qualitative-quantitative value for the brand, anchoring research & consumer insights, exposure to brand management practices, proven marketing strategy execution capabilities.
- Overseeing different relationships with channel partners.
- Oversee supply Chain
- Developing new channels for sales development.
- Planning, Implementing & Assessing all BTL & Sales enhancement activities.
NOTE :
Candidates from Ethiopia / Middle East / India would be considered ( Currently Area Sales Manager role 2006 Graduates )
