Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement Strategies: Design and execute business development strategies to enhance market penetration and increase revenue from commercial lines of insurance.
2. Lead and Manage Team: Oversee the commercial lines team at the location, providing leadership, guidance, and support to achieve collective goals.
3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their specific needs and providing customized insurance solutions.
4. Coordinate with Insurers: Work closely with insurance providers to negotiate terms and secure the best coverage options for clients.
5. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, competition, and potential areas for expansion or improvement.
6. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies, and provide regular reports to senior management on progress, achievements, and challenges.
7. Collaborate Across Departments: Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting, claims, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
8. Training and Development: Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and industry regulations.
- Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Expert in end-to-end Sales Planning - Business Forecasting, Active Pipeline Management and Sales Closures, Client Engagement, Key Account Management & Up & Cross Sell.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word & Power Point.
