Our client is a leading payments firm and is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with expertise in process automation, particularly focusing on client onboarding, KYC, and fraud detection and prevention. This role is central to enhancing operational efficiencies and customer experiences through innovative technology solutions. Located in Abu Dhabi, this 12-month (extendable) project offers the chance to significantly contribute to a leading financial institution's digital transformation efforts.

Detailed Role Description:

Non-Technical:

- Demonstrated analytical skills, focusing on process engineering and data analytics.

- Proficient in developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and tracking progress against milestones.

- Skilled in stakeholder analysis, management plans, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

- Expertise in conducting risk assessments and formulating risk mitigation strategies.

Technical:

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, and tools such as Atlassian Jira for writing user stories and process mapping.

- Understanding of integrating with 3rd party APIs for functionalities such as credit scoring, identity verification, and more.

- Proficiency in using collaboration tools like Atlassian Confluence, MS SharePoint, and MS Teams.

Qualifications:

Knowledge & Experience:

- 8-10 years of experience across the full customer lifecycle, with a strong focus on requirements gathering, analysis, and project implementation in consumer banking products.

- In-depth understanding of onboarding processes, including identity verification, KYC, screening, and credit eligibility.

- Familiarity with the UAE Central Bank's regulatory requirements regarding risk and fraud.

- Proficient knowledge of banking core systems and the performance analysis of APIs /capabilities/ business processes.

- Minimum 5 years of product management experience, preferably within the UAE market.
