This role in the Procurement Services would be required to develop high quality research reports for category/ Market Intelligence managers. These products will help the client better understand their category and make them aware of important developments in their category, with the help of following products :
- Industry/ Market Reports
- Category Intelligence Reports
- Newsletter
Thematic research pieces highlighting emerging trends in the procurement space - generic and category specific trends
The analyst will also be required to work on other products, including:
- Supplier Profiles
- Supplier Risk Assessments
- Supplier Sustainability Reports
- Cost models
- Inflation indices
Further, the role will involve development of deliverables for customized research assignments.
The analyst in this role will largely develop specialization in a specific industry/ category. Over the period, we expect the analyst to become a specialist in the target industry/ category and therefore, actively engage with clients to share insights relevant to client business.
The role will be responsible for client satisfaction - Ensuring smooth execution of projects within defined timelines and development of client facing content. The role will also be expected to participate in discussions related to providing insights and ensuring development of trigger-based products based on key market developments that add value for the procurement categories and client companies.
Skills required :
- Experience of working on industry reports
- Extensive report writing experience
- Basic understanding of finance, including analysis of key liquidity ratios
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Experience of working on MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Knowledge of databases and tools - Capital IQ, D&B, Factiva
- Ability to work under pressure with a proven track record to deliver against objectives. Experience of self- managing and using initiative to problem-solve
- Ability to bring innovative with out-of-box thinking
- Highly adept in understanding business issues and translating them into research priorities
- Strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities.
