As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business initiatives within the investment banking domain.
You will leverage your extensive experience, analytical skills, and project management expertise to deliver innovative solutions and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and effectively manage their expectations.
- Project Management: Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline.
- Solution Development: Develop innovative solutions to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, analyze performance, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with business initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in finance, business economics, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the investment banking domain with a strong focus on reconciliations, business analysis, and project management.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of at least one of the following domains: Equities, FX, Derivatives, Payments, Trade Finance, Custody, Asset Servicing, or Syndicated Loans.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using financial systems, databases, and software tools, including MS Office Suite and project management software
