Key Responsibilities
Brand Equity
- Evaluate current brand equity and create improved brand architecture
- Financial management, controlling and process management of brand and products
Insight Generation & Application
- Research and discover powerful consumer insights to unlock growth and inform brand strategies
Brand Strategy
- Collate and analyze market trends, prepare drafts of brand plans, develop an optimal marketing mix, recommend positioning and pricing strategies, co-ordinate market research activities, and strengthen brand equity
- Monitor competitor activities, and undertake timely market interventions.
- Track all market initiatives. Document and incorporate learning.
Marketing Plan
- Prepare the Marketing Plan & Media Briefs
- Co-ordinate with agencies, track media deliverables and sales volumes
- Develop the Annual Brand Plan in conjunction with the Business Head, Sales & agencies
- Work with the Marketing Head in development of cutting edge advertising strategies and campaigns
Consumer Promotions
- Recommend consumer promotions schemes, prepares financial analysis, take approvals, coordinate with supply chain and sales for procurement and implementation to increase sales volumes
Trade Promotions
- Plan the trade promotion scheme and key outlet scheme, prepare the financial analysis, take approvals, monitor performance of the schemes to increase width and depth of distribution
- Assist the sales team in implementing the trade promotion plans.
New Product Development
- Work with R&D on product development, conduct market and feasibility studies for new products; assist the Marketing & R&D Head in conceiving new product strategies.
- Creating and executing launch and communication plans
- Seek approvals, co-ordinate with other departments on prospecting plans and post launch market support activities to ensure launch of new products
