We are looking for a Senior/Assistant Manager-Assurance with one of the Big 4's.
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Manage a portfolio of engagements, by leading a team of seniors and associates.
- Ensure the team delivers timely and high quality work, as per GAM and in line with the Global team expectations.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of GAM while performing reviews of audit procedures along with knowledge of tools to make audits more efficient and meaningful.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key Global counterparts like Assurance executives based out of Americas or Europe.
- Develop an understanding of Quality and Risk Management procedures, and ensure these are embedded in to the engagement team's work.
- Proactively discuss work flow management with the audit teams, allocating resources to the assigned work and monitoring performance against standards. Monitor utilization for one's team, budget to actuals, and other operational matters.
- Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing with GTH and Global audit teams.
- Establish expectations of value to be delivered to the respective GTH Global teams aligned.
- Identify opportunities to improve the scope of work for GTH
- Standardize audit processes along with leveraging best practices across one's aligned engagements or beyond.
- Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
- Motivate and lead one's GTH team members, identify and foster key talents, coach, mentor and supervise team members
- Assist Managers on various operational matters required on one's team.
- Contribute to delivering some of the technical and soft-skills training and assist in recruitment of seniors and staffs.
- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example.
- Use technology & tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to technical and soft-skills training to continually develop the team's skills.
