Job Purpose:
The candidate will be a key member of the ____ sectoral coverage team, working on PE, M&A, and ECM deals. Responsibilities include supporting end-to-end execution (collateral preparation, commercial negotiations, investor interactions, due diligence, and documentation) and actively participating in business development and generating new mandates.
Key Skill-sets and Deliverables:
- Execute assigned deals and mandates diligently, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Prepare key materials such as information memorandums (IMs), financial models, teasers, and scenario analyses.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution, including due diligence and documentation.
- Contribute to negotiation and closing of agreements.
- Identify industry opportunities and conduct prospective client meetings.
- Generate leads in target sectors to secure mandates and drive revenue, overseeing research and pitch preparation.
- Manage end-to-end execution of mandated transactions.
- Stay updated on sectoral trends and regulatory developments.
- Assist in creating leads and business development collaterals, supporting top management in deal opportunities.
- Build sector expertise, develop investor relationships, and perform additional organizational responsibilities as needed.
Role Requirements:
o Educational Qualifications: MBA Finance / CA
o Experience: 4-6 Years in a boutique investment banking firm
o Domain Knowledge: Good understanding of the financial sector and regulations; past experience working in equity/debt transactions
o Working knowledge of various MS excel and PowerPoint, various databases and valuation methodologies
