Senior Associate - Valuation

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and analysis to support valuation engagements, including market research, financial analysis using industry databases and comparable companies, and preparation of valuation reports.

- Apply a variety of valuation methodologies (DCF, Comparable Company, Option Pricing, Multiples Approach) to arrive at sound valuation conclusions, adhering to International Valuation Standards (IVS) and IFRS standards (IFRS 3, Impairment Testing, Fair Value Accounting).

- Develop and maintain valuation models independently, demonstrating a strong understanding of IVS standards and best practices.

- Craft compelling valuation reports, clearly articulating methodologies, assumptions, justifications, and the basis for your valuation conclusions.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and valuation practices, continuously expanding your technical knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

- 1-2 years of experience as a Valuation Associate or Senior Associate within a reputable valuation advisory firm.

- ACA, CFA, or ACCA qualification (mandatory).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and incorporate a business perspective into valuation assessments.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality reports and effectively present findings to diverse audiences.

- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work.

- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

- Proficiency in advanced MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a strong understanding of valuation modeling techniques.

- Experience with Power BI tools, CFI courses, or other relevant financial modeling applications (a plus).
