Job Description: Oracle ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service) Specialist
Position Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our organization as an Oracle ARCS Specialist.
- In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) for our clients.
- You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reconciliation requirements and design and deliver effective solutions using the ARCS platform.
- Additionally, you will provide expertise in optimizing and automating reconciliation processes, ensuring data accuracy, and enhancing financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle ARCS Implementation:
- Lead and participate in the end-to-end implementation of Oracle ARCS, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reconciliation processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend ARCS-based solutions.
- Configure and customize the ARCS application to meet clients' specific reconciliation requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of the ARCS application.
Reconciliation Process Enhancement:
- Analyze existing reconciliation processes and identify opportunities to streamline and automate them using Oracle ARCS functionalities.
- Design and implement optimized reconciliation processes in ARCS, leveraging features such as matching rules, auto-reconciliation, and variance analysis.
- Work closely with business users to define reconciliation rules, thresholds, and approval workflows to ensure accurate and timely reconciliations.
- Provide guidance and training to users on best practices for reconciliation process optimization and utilization of ARCS features.
System Support and Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Oracle ARCS application, addressing user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving system defects.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, proactively identifying and resolving any performance bottlenecks or data integrity issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Stay updated on Oracle ARCS product updates, new features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations on adopting relevant enhancements.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with stakeholders, including finance teams, auditors, and IT personnel, to understand their needs and ensure ARCS solutions meet their requirements.
- Conduct regular meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and communicate project progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as data integration and security teams, to ensure smooth integration of ARCS with other enterprise systems.
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize the value derived from the Oracle ARCS solution.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in implementing and supporting Oracle ARCS or other financial reconciliation applications.
- Strong knowledge of financial reconciliation processes and controls, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Oracle ARCS configuration, including data sources setup, reconciliation rule definition, and workflow design.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) suite and integration capabilities with other Oracle Cloud applications.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Oracle ARCS, including system performance and data integrity.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex business requirements and translate them into effective ARCS solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
- Relevant certifications in Oracle ARCS or Oracle Cloud EPM are a plus.
