Senior Associate - Operational Risk Framework & Governance - BFSI

Title - CCOR AWM Op Risk Framework and Governance Sr Associate

- Operational Risk Management (ORM) is part of Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR), within the Risk Management and Compliance organization. CCOR maintains oversight of the firm's Compliance, conduct and operational risk management activities and is responsible for the design and execution of the CCOR program, which consists of the second line of defense's responsibilities in managing the firm's Compliance, conduct, and operational risk.

Responsibilities:

- The successful candidate will be able to work on behalf of the AWM ORM senior leadership team to drive the execution, governance, and protocols associated with AWM ORM's Independent Second- line Risk Assessment (ISRA), CORE oversight, and other ORM responsibilities within the firm's Operational Risk Management Framework.

- Design, Develop and maintain AWM Operational Risk protocols in support of the CCOR program, including but not limited to Independent Second Line Risk Assessment (ISRA), Control and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) oversight, Material Risk Inventory (MRI) review, Qualitative Operational Risk Appetite (QORA) review, CORE non-objections, ISRA alerts, Flash notices.

- Ensure that the LOB risk assessment methodology remains consistent with global risk assessment standards

- Represent AWM Operational Risk in Operational Risk Framework related initiatives - determine and communicate expectations

- Drive and participate in various working groups and project activities

- Coordinate the execution of these Operational Risk Framework related processes for AWM Operational Risk

- Manage execution of routine ISRA activities (quality assurance reviews, horizontal feedback) and ad hoc needs (regulator and audit requests, data analysis and reporting) to completion

- Work effectively with AWM ORM leadership team to ensure risk assessments meet standards

Experience:

- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously

- Ability to lead calls and collaborate with others across the regions and other lines of business

- Detail oriented, strong organizational, presentation, leadership, and negotiation skills
