Senior Associate - Legal - Retail

JOB PURPOSE:

Litigation/corporate/ commercial/compliance and such other legal support and services to the company

Areas of Expertise

- Commercial Law, companies law, labour law and other related laws concerned to business inside country and internationally

- Experienced in Compliance requirements of India

- Experienced in commercial contract drafting/reviews/opinions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Corporate Commercial management

- Independently drafting, reviewing agreements, contracts such as consultancy agreements, agency/partnership, franchise, distribution agreements, lease agreements, various service level agreements such others.

- Litigation Support and Compliance

- Advising legal opinions and support on subject to the documentation in contract requirements/compliance/litigation with statutory and applicable laws regulations in legal matters including the contractual risks and analysis and liaise in Negotiation with external parties representing either inside India or outside.

- Litigation Support

- Representing Company before Courts/tribunals and various other regulatory bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

- Minimum of Bachelor in law with 5-8 years experience in India

- Experience in commercial/corporate legal management in the multi-national companies
