Senior Associate - Financial Strategy & Financial Modeling - Insurance Domain

- A prominent family office is looking to hire a candidate for the insurance domain in its financial services vertical.

- The role involves complete understanding of the Indian Life and Non-Life Insurance space, with good operational exposure to products and processes of a life insurance company

- As an insurance business expert the candidate will have the responsibility to manage the portfolio of the Insurance investments for the client.

Following are some of the key pointers around which the responsibilities are going to revolve:

- Closely interact with the investee insurance company and manage the portfolio

- Involved in the business and financial strategy for the insurance venture

- Assist management of investee companies in various business development capacities and financial analysis.

- Assist management in analyzing various Performance and Cost KPI and help facilitate right strategic decisions.

- Drive innovation through differentiated product constructs

- Identify technology and other innovations to address the opportunities in the changing landscape of insurance

- Portfolio management activities, including preparation of one off and periodic reports required for internal and external reporting.

- Business Finance support through advanced business modelling, analytics including market / competitors analysis

- Manage regulatory & compliance interaction with IRDA / Insurance cos & internal teams

Qualification and pre-requisites:

- Candidates with prior insurance industry experience (4-6 years) is a pre-requisite

- IIT+MBA/CA+MBA preferred.

- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.

- Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy, strong work ethic

- Ability to multitask, desire to learn and teamwork- orientation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
