Senior Associate - Equity Capital Market - BFS - CA/IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Candidate Work Experience -

This is an ECM execution role. Accordingly the candidate should have experience in execution of ECM products viz. IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, Buy Backs, Open Offers, Delisting, Fundraising, M&A etc

Key Skills Required :

Functional :

- In-depth knowledge of SEBI Regulations -ICDR, takeover code, buybacks, listing law, delisting regulations etc

- Understanding of market practices, acceptable interpretations of the law

- Familiarity with functioning of SEBI ; professional relationships at dealing officer levels

- Good communication / drafting skills

- Personality - ability to handle the balance between client needs and the responsibility as a merchant banker

Behavioral:

- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines

- Team Player

Technical (if any):

- NISM Certification

Key Role Responsibilities

- Assist the execution teams of one or two associates in ECM transaction execution

- Control the deliverables - Prospectus, Letters of Offer, Public Announcements, other client deliverables

- Ensure due diligence - quality of deliverables from accuracy and clarity perspectives.

- Collate and maintain backups and transaction records.

- Conduct and participate in multiple party interactions to facilitate timely execution of transactions.

- Should understand regulatory aspects - Security Control Regulatory Act (SCRA)

SEBI ICD Regulations; SEBI Takeover Code; SEBI Delisting Regulations, SEBI Buyback Regulations and relevant portions of the Companies Act.

Command over drafting skill, business written English should be of high quality.

Education Qualification : CA/MBA(full time) from tier 1 college
