Role : FSO-GCR (Direct tax & income tax)
ARE YOU
- Experienced in demonstrating project management, leadership, communication, relationship building, analytical, interpersonal, multi-tasking and organization skills and focus on quality and attention to detail
- Possess high degree of tax compliance, accounting, and analytical skills in the Banking and Capital Market ("BCM") area
- A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organisation
- Excellent client management skills and experienced to handle multiple engagements within the practice assigned and therefore must have the ability to multi-task.
- Can apply your technical knowledge to our engagements / clients in ways that produce strategic outcomes to some very complex issues.
- Experienced in handling a team of approx. 2-5 people
- Proficient in strong communication, both written and verbal and ability to present research findings
- Proficient using MS Office tools specifically Power point, WORD, EXCEL and Advance Excel.

We are focused on supporting our BCM clients in managing their compliance and reporting requirements, centrally and locally, and also in delivering on their transformation agenda. You will be instrumental in driving efficiencies by offering leading practice solutions, including implementation of software solutions and robotic automation within our client's tax functions, with a focus on interpreting data rather than inputting data. You will be required to demonstrate dedication to quality in all aspects of your work, which will include managing client service team members and contributing to the achievement of team goals.

- Able to identify key tax technical issues and raise the appropriate questions before the work is sent for review to the partner or senior manager - and consult when necessary
- Ensuring use of the methodologies, tools and technology specific to tax.
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Managing client expectations, wherever required, in consultation with project leaders
- Assist in managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
- Build strong internal relationships within the team and across other services
- Foster collaboration and constructive communication within the team.
- Display general knowledge of engagement "big picture"
- Develop, mentor and supervise Staffs and Seniors
- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
- Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training the professionals
- Maintain a robust educational program by conducting trainings to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis
- Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently
