Senior Associate/Deputy Manager - Liability Underwriting - Insurance

Senior Associate- Liability Underwriting- 2- 4 Years- Mumbai

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate / Deputy Manager with at least 2 years of experience to join our liability underwriting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for underwriting liability proposals, business development, channel management, policy administration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Underwriting liability proposals for a range of products and clients

2. Participating in business development activities, including customer interactions, deal closures, and product presentations

3. Managing channels by acting as a liaison between brokers and clients, and developing liability products

4. Collaborating with other departments such as reinsurance, product specialists, and accounts

5. Administrating policies and manage documentation

6. Contributing to pricing reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory and product approval standards

7. Coordinating with stakeholders on underwriting matters and collaborate with IT and Operations teams to meet business requirements and deliver exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

1. B.E/B.Tech/MBA/PG

2. 2-4 years of underwriting experience with a general insurance firm

3. Practical experience with analytical tools and statistical packages

4. Additional insurance diploma or certification is a plus

5. Strong comprehension and communication skills
