Senior Associate - Banking & Finance - LLB

- Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including loan agreements, bond deeds, power purchase agreements (PPAs), regasification agreements, EPC contracts, framework agreements, share subscription agreements, and shareholder agreements.

- Legal Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on projects, identifying project risks, and regulatory issues, and advising clients on risk mitigation strategies.

- Advisory on Project Finance: Provide legal advice on the structuring and financing of projects across sectors such as solar, wind, thermal power, infrastructure, LNG, ports, and transmission lines, advising on regulatory compliance and financing structures.

Sector-Specific Expertise: Advice on projects across various sectors, including:

- Renewable Energy: Solar and wind power projects in India and overseas.

- Thermal Power: Thermal power projects across Indian states, including Punjab, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Andhra Pradesh.

- Fertilizer & Chemical Projects: Fertilizer and chemical complexes in West Bengal and Gujarat.

- Hydropower: Hydropower projects in Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh.

- LNG and Port Projects: LNG terminals and bulk port terminals in Gujarat and Odisha.

- Transmission Line Projects: Power transmission line projects across India.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

- 4-6 years of experience in a legal advisory role, particularly in projects, banking & finance, and insolvency.

- Experience advising on cross-border transactions or projects in energy, infrastructure, or distressed asset sectors is a plus.

- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in India, particularly in energy, power, and infrastructure sectors.
