Senior Associate/Associate Manager - Strategy Initiative
Key Responsibilities:
Government and Stakeholder Engagement:- Build and maintain relationships with state and central government ministries, departments, and chambers of commerce.
- Represent the company in meetings, industry forums, and events to advocate business interests.
- Collaborate with policy think tanks, consulting organizations, and international bodies to influence favorable policy decisions.
Policy Advocacy and Monitoring:- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting the business.
- Draft policy briefs, position papers, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Advocate for policy changes that align with the company's strategic goals.
Business Development:- Identify and pursue business opportunities aligned with government policies and programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate business strategies with public policy initiatives.
Grant Acquisition and Management:- Identify grants suitable for technology and sustainability projects.
- Prepare and submit grant proposals while ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Manage relationships with grant-making bodies and oversee grant utilization.
Internal Collaboration and Communication:- Align government affairs strategies with business development objectives.
- Communicate updates on government and business initiatives to senior leadership.
- Provide guidance and training on legislative and regulatory developments to internal teams.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or business development.
- Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes at state and central levels.
- Proven ability to engage with ministries, chambers of commerce, and policymakers.
- Experience in handling in-person meetings with key stakeholders.
