Senior Associate/Analyst - Investor Relations/Equity Research - BFSI

Designation: Sr. Associate / Analyst - Investor Relations

Required Experience: Min 5 yrs (Equity Markets)

Qualification: CA or CFA min L2 cleared or MBA + CFA L1 cleared

Company: It is an IR (Investor relation firm)

Job Location: Mumbai (Temporary wfh due to current pandemic)

This job is based out of Mumbai, India - only current residents of Mumbai pls apply for this position.

Pls Note: This opportunity has one year contract, candidates have to commit to us for a year and need to sign a bond.

Job Requirement:

- This is not a pure equity research role. It is an investor relations role and only candidates interested in making a career in this need apply. Investor Relations as a role is a mix of financial, business, and equity research of our client companies, and also presenting the fundamental business and financials of these companies to the equity research analysts, so in fact you need to be better than an equity research analyst to be able to present to them.

- CA/CFA and/or MBA from a reputed B school preferred

- Equity research and/or Equity Sales experience preferred - from sell side/buy side, private equity, investment banking etc.

- Excellent communication skills in English mandatory

- Financial modelling, excel skills, and power point skills preferred

- Candidates with prior experience in creating pitch books, presentations, reports, consulting type presentations will be preferred.

- This is a consulting/research type of role for a professional with good financial experience.

- Relationship-building skills in the investment community, and the ability to collaborate with the executive management team of client companies.

- Manage Investor Relations of client accounts

- This position involves interacting with Promoters, CFO, CEO level clients and requires tremendous emotional maturity/finesse.

- Prepare Presentations

- Research and analyse public companies and their peers

- Perform various types of financial analysis

- Make professional level presentations to investor community i.e. fund managers at institutional investors like mutual funds, insurance companies etc, and analysts of brokerage houses

- Perform various types of analyses, reports, logs, etc.
