Senior Architect - Windows - IT

We have an opportunity for a Senior Architect - Windows with one of our client in Pune location.

Description

- Design production system architecture

- Ensure production system stability and availability

- Plan and deploy production systems, migration or upgrade

- System debugging and performance tuning

- Train junior engineers and teammates

- Disaster recovery design, implementation and support

- Lead the team

- Ability to lead the technical discussions with clients and other IT services teams

Technical Skills:

Windows Admin:

- Having 10+ Years of experience as Windows Administration

- Experience in Windows 2003 and above

- Design and Build support for Windows environments.

- OS migration and upgrades

Experience of Datacenter migration is plus

- Cluster installation and maintenance

- Load balance setup

- File server implementation

- Expert in scripting (PowerShell/VB)

- Experience in Patch Management

- Strong knowledge on RAID and on various disk technologies

- Server OS troubleshooting & Bug Fixes Software troubleshooting (OS; Hardware or Application)

- Knowledge on SAN / NAS storage Experience in Virtualization (Citrix & VMware)

- Firmware updates for Physical and Virtual Environment

- Experience in SCCM and Operations manager installation, configuration and maintenance

- Knowledgeable in unified communications and Microsoft Exchangewill be desirable

- Work experience in Banking and Financial domain is a plus

Senior Project Manager:

- Experience in delivering the full scope of IT infrastructure coordinating 5+ technical teams in Matrix environment .

- We don't expect PMs to be experts in technologies but to have enough knowledge so as to be able to plan effectively identify dependencies and coordinate technical teams

- Experience in delivering IT projects following formal project management methodologies and tools

- Excellent soft skills

- Ability to manage challenging stakeholders / customers

- Ability to run projects remotely with stakeholders, technical teams and deliverables in multiple locations around the world

- Make it happen attitude

- Self-sufficient running projects with minimal supervision

- Work experience in Banking and Financial domain is a plus
