The purpose of the role:

- Project Management and Scrum master for successful delivery of medium/large projects. Given the transition state of the area you are working in, this role will include

- Support adoption of Agile methodology and use prior Agile experience to assist in delivery transformation

- Providing direction to the project team - supporting transition to scrum-driven team approach

- Control a project budget range of up to approximately - 1m.

- Owns and drives Project planning/Agile-based planning.

- Owns and drives the effective governance of the Project, ensuring that Bank technical, risk and other standards and compliance requirements are met.

- Works with Product Owner to control the Programme/Project scope.

- Responsibility for identification and management of Project RAIDs and initiating timely corrective actions and escalating appropriately to senior management/stakeholders

Your Role

- Works with the Technology Partner/Programme Manager to deliver effective communications and manages relationships with key stakeholders at executive and direct reports' levels

- Ensures the Scrum team/Project resource plan is maintained with appropriately skilled and experienced individuals.

- Ensures delivery of the platform and service meets business need and that acceptance and handover to business as usual are managed against agreed acceptance criteria.

- Ensuring that project delivery and methodology align to fulfil the vision and benefit realization agreed with project stakeholders Ensures Programme/Project/Project status reporting is accurate, informative and timely. Intervene wherever gaps in the Programme/Project are identified.

- Manages several suppliers in line with agreed contractual obligations, milestones and quality standards. Also manages vendor/selection process in relation to your Project.

- Definition of Project approach and deliverables, focussing on Agile transitioning without detriment to existing deliverables.

Essential Skills

- Bachelors/Masters Engineering degree from reputed Engineering College

- Hands on experience in Project/Product Management with emphasis on Banking Domain

- Ability to lead technical discussion with Architecture and Engineering teams

- Excellent Presentation skills

Desirable Skills

- Working knowledge of Digital and Cloud Technologies

- Working knowledge of Architecture Principles and TOGAF
