Role Overview:

They are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join their Financial and Regulatory Reporting team as a Senior Analyst/Manager. This role is integral to the firm's Financial Operations group, focusing on investor and legal entity financial reporting for hedge fund and private fund vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, analyze, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Conduct account and performance analyses, investor management, and regulatory reporting for multiple legal entities in global capital markets.

- Manage change processes by analyzing and incorporating business changes into the firm's financial reporting infrastructure.

- Drive technology projects, including building reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Query), streamlining workflows, and improving user experience.

- Contribute to the launch of new funds and closure of existing funds, including structuring complex fund transactions and responding to internal requests.

- Stay updated on technical accounting developments (primarily U.S. GAAP) and provide accounting guidance.

- Participate in the adoption of new accounting standards and update the firm's accounting policy manual.

- Interact with external auditors and internal departments, including trade accounting, management company accounting, pricing, investor relations, tax, treasury, legal and compliance, and software development.

Basic Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountancy qualification (CPA is an advantage) with 3-10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting for global investment or banking entities.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects effectively.

- Ability to operate in an agile environment with month-end deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in hedge fund or investment banking industries, particularly in fund accounting and reporting.

- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, IFRS, and HKIFRS.
