Senior Analyst - Legal Contracting Administration
Work Location: Gurgaon (Currently Work from Home)
Work in shifts: 11am-8pm or 1pm-10pm
This position is to provide in-house support to the Legal teams and Business on contract management to US and UK stakeholders
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for drafting and negotiating of client and vendor contracts.
- Responsible for creating and updating standard templates and forms of different commercial contracts.
- To advise business on queries relating to contractual clauses and legal risk, pertaining to different geographies.
- Responsible for drafting and review of business and commercial agreements, non-disclosure agreements, information sharing arrangements, tender responses, data protection documents and other communication with customers.
- To conduct research on recent legal and regulatory developments and to provide business with pragmatic and workable solutions on operation of international laws and practices.
- Responsible for handling international/multi-jurisdictional contracts.
- Responsible to communicate and help external Lawyers/Law Firms in required information.
Qualified candidates for Contracting Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree in law
- 7-10 years of experience in Drafting, Redlining and Negotiation of contracts.
- Working knowledge on MS office
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Effectively prioritise work by understanding competing priorities and make appropriate judgments regarding relative importance;
- Deliver clear, pragmatic solutions to both internal and external clients;
- Escalate key issues for decision or information using appropriate judgment as to when to do so;
- Manage expectations well; communicate regularly with internal business colleagues regarding projected timeframe for project completion;
- Be a team player; offer to help colleagues and share work;
- Good knowledge of basic of data protection concepts preferred.
- Experience in a professional services firm, financial services or law firm.
- Ability to independently draft and negotiate commercial contracts like Non-disclosure Agreements, Request for Proposals (RFP), Service Level Agreements, Tenancy Agreements and ancillary drafts
- Problem solving skills to resolve problems in a multi-product/service environment
