Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst - Project Management - Risk & Regulatory Reporting

We have an opening with one of our client for the position of SR Analyst/Lead Analyst - Risk & Regulatory Reporting.

Job Location: Mumbai/Pune

Role: Project Management - Risk & Regulatory Reporting

Job Description:

- Finance and regulatory team needs PMs to drive their book of work prioritization and tight rope walking to meet various project regulatory objectives.

- Identifying, with the Program Mangers, business lines and functions, the full range of regulatory and public policy issues of relevance to the bank's risk & finance infrastructure plan for e.g. setup of a new legal entity or modifying the legal entities due to BREXIT.

- Working closely with key / program managers in risk or regulations to prioritize a dynamic book of work. Producing and maintaining a comprehensive external engagement strategy which identifies the objectives to be pursued with key stakeholders, and ensures that engagement is planned, prepared and resourced to deliver the bank's objectives.

- Maintaining a knowledge pool which keeps track of information received from external engagement and ensures it is reflected in future engagement activity.

- Working with colleagues in Governance and compliance to ensure that regulatory engagements are taken forward in coherent fashion and that maximum value is extracted from engagement at all levels within the authorities.

- Ensure regular project constraints of time, cost and scope are maintained and issues are highlighted adequately at various forums.

- Confident and clear understanding of the importance of project control and transparency with compliance requirements

- Ability to translate requirements to PMs and confident in challenging input as appropriate

- Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing and relationship building skills at all levels

- A tenacity to drive excellence and quality in all aspects of their areas of responsibility, identifying and embracing best practice

- Results focused - able to act decisively delivering successful outcomes to tasks in hand

Candidate Experience

- Significant, demonstrable experience in a similar role.

- Proven experience of successfully setting up and supporting the management and delivery of projects to time, budget, and quality standards and with benefits fully realized

- Proven experience in operating project management software and tools (e.g. Clarity)
