Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst - Private Credit - CRE Sector Research

Global finance and technology based firm is seeking resourceful candidates to join their Private Credit team within their Financial Research group based in Gurugram/Bengaluru/Hyderabad, India.

This role entails analyzing large and highly structured commercial real estate opportunities, evaluating live transactions, and performing detailed deal analyses and valuations of CRE assets.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day:

As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the front office group by analyzing and assessing investment opportunities across the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) capital structure. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining detailed financial models, conducting market research, preparing and presenting investment memos, performing investment due diligence, and analyzing sector-related reports to extract insights. You will be expected to connect research findings with market data, enabling informed decision-making.

Who We're Looking For:

- Candidates should hold a finance degree (MBA) or equivalent qualification, with 2 to 8 years of relevant work experience.

- Experience in evaluating CRE transactions, with expertise in performing deal analyses including returns, sensitivities, covenants, historical trends, comparables, 3-statements, and valuations.

- Willingness to expand skill sets into new sectors and products.

- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and derive insights, including financial data, market trends, and investment opportunities.

- Proficiency in building and maintaining detailed financial models, including cash flow models, valuation models, and other types of financial projections.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

- Understanding of structured finance asset classes, including analysis, evaluation, and management, is advantageous.

- Ability to lead projects independently, work well within a team, and effectively interact with trading desks and stakeholders.
