Title: Sr Analyst/Lead Analyst - Legal Entity Controller
A prominent global investment management firm specializing in hedge funds, private equity, and quantitative strategies, with its headquarters in New York City, company has expanded its global presence with offices in major financial centers, including London, Hong Kong, Kansas City, Silicon Valley, Hyderabad , Bangalore , Gurugram is currently seeking a qualified candidate with a Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant degree and 3-7 years of post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and file U.S. GAAP-based financial statements for various entities, including renewable energy projects, investment funds, and corporate entities.
- Maintain accurate books and records, ensuring adherence to close timelines and control procedures.
- Perform technical accounting analyses for mergers and acquisitions, structured debt, leases, power purchase agreements, and other significant transactions.
- Liaise with auditors to facilitate timely closure of external audits.
- Collaborate with U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, including asset managers, treasury, tax team associates, and external consultants.
- Review the financial statements maintained by analysts in the team.
- Engage in management and investor reporting activities, including annual project budget preparation, budget versus actual analysis, tax reporting, and investor account statements.
- Work on initiatives to standardize, optimize, and document accounting processes, workflows, and controls.

Requirements -
- Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant degree (first/second attempt)
- 3-6 years of post-qualification work experience in accounting.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance.
- Proven track record of team management, process building, and operational excellence.
- Strong leadership, judgment, and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of U.S. GAAP and U.S. based audits.
- Experience in the energy, real estate, or financial services sector is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Familiarity with financial agreements and contracts, such as credit and equity investment agreements.
