Background :
Global Transaction Banking (GTB) comprises commercial banking products and services for corporate clients and financial institutions, including domestic and cross-border payments, professional risk mitigation for international trade and the provision of trust, agency, depositary, custody and related services. Business units include Cash Management, Trade Finance and Trust & Securities Services.
Finance GTB is a trusted advisor for GTB Business. In its mandate Finance GTB measures and analyses independently the business performance in detail. Finance GTB acts as a co-pilot to the business by giving early warnings and challenge to Business decisions.
Role Description :
The role is for a Business Management specialist who will support the GTB Finance team in Mumbai. It is a time-pressured position which is instrumental in assisting/advising senior management and in coordinating the deployment of the bank's corporate resources to address strategic and tactical objectives.
The individual must be someone who possesses the following characteristics :

- Constantly challenging the norm to drive the business forward from a strategic, regulatory and control perspective
Primary Responsibilities :
The role of a Business Manager is centered on 4 key areas :
HC Tracking : Involves HC tracking and management. Highlighting the team efficiencies and utilization to the management on an on-going basis
BoW Management : Thorough understanding of the internal inventory management to identify the quality and quantity of work on an ongoing basis. Need to improve/ maintain the governance framework/ demand management
Operation & Control : Total responsibility of all the risk & control topics around audit, regulatory compliance, documentation, work transitions, service level agreements, cross boarder resiliency, business continuity, HR issues, hiring, operational issue tracking, team reviews, etc. Need to work with the internal teams to deliver the metrics to the senior leadership
Communication : Oversight of the team's meetings/ schedules. Lead and manage site related meetings like Town-halls
Qualification & Experience required :
- MBA in Finance with minimum 3-5 years experience
- Consulting background experience preferred
- Financial Markets experience; GTB /Commercial Banking experience preferred
- Experience in working with Senior Stakeholders within a large organization
- Strong Quantitative and Analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insight
- Advanced user of MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
- Very strong communication skills both verbal and written
