Job overview :
- Part of a 8-10 member team which researches and provides insightful analysis on Global sourcing issues and themes through published & custom research.
- Role will include supporting/ leading team on projects, managing specific pieces of a research agenda, authoring reports and white papers, developing expertise in select field, global interaction with buyers, service providers, subject matter experts, investors, and internal employees.
- The candidate must be able to analyze, write, work with senior executives, develop complex and compelling scenarios, and work with clients solving strategic outsourcing issues.
Key responsibilities :
- Identify areas of research based on industry and client needs
- Problem solve and structure work to manage deliverables and timelines
- Lead modules in custom engagements (manage small-to-medium sized custom projects)
- Set plan for internal growth and actively develop domain expertise, leveraging subject matter experts, and external sources
- Support business development efforts (through proposals, collaterals, thought leadership)
- Help build visibility with clients, prospects, and overall market (e.g., blogs, whitepapers, newsletters)
- Proactively deliver and manage practice agenda for published research reports
- Refine business communication skills for external market communication

Education & experience :
- Bachelor's degree; MBA strongly preferred (from Tier-1 B-School)
- 2-3 years post-MBA work experience in consulting/research / outsourcing strategy environment. 3-5 years of work experience in case of non-MBAs
- Interest in outsourcing space and sourcing trends
- History of excellence in academics, personal and vocational achievements
