Sr Global Logistics Analyst
Duties :
- Manage carrier partners (air and ocean) to ensure compliance within our contractual service levels and KPI's.
- Continued development of our shipment track and trace program.
Develop shipments strategies to help improve transit lead times, on time deliveries, and cost of finished goods to our DC's.
- Manage internal shipments between warehouse distribution centers globally.
- Help facilitate RFQ's and onboard new carrier partners.
- Import/Export compliance management and ensure policies align with processes.
- Responsible to communicate arrival of shipments to partners and confirmation of delivery is scheduled
- Manage inbound expedite shipments both air and ocean to our distribution centers.
- Ensure hard copy of POD is received within established service level
- Responsible to adhere to escalation procedure if shipments are not moving on schedule
- Responsible to retain applicable costs and update all files as necessary
- Follow all relevant Standard Operating Procedures, client protocols, and quality criteria in accordance with good manufacturing practices in all areas of responsibility
- Responsible for updating/reporting all applicable status changes of shipments including issues
- Responsible for uploading and/or applicable documents that pertain to each shipment
- Responsible for file retention and record keeping
Prepare commercial documentation for imports and exports as needed
Qualifications :- At least 10-12 yrs experience working logistics in global capacity
- Strong working knowledge of import/export compliance
- Minimum of 4yrs in managing suppliers/carriers
- International experience in a manufacturing industry
- Dangerous Goods experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Relationship development and management skills
