Sr Analyst - Gender and Climate
Job Description:
- Lead the delivery of technical assistance to clients while ensuring high quality of delivery and strict adherence to timelines.
- Support business development on gender and climate change in India, South and Southeast Asia, and Africa.
- Mentor junior team members and help them in their professional development.
- Contribute to organizational development by being a team player and upholding organizational culture, values, and reputation
- Develop and publish knowledge resources by identifying key issues, lessons learned, and best practices in programs and projects undertaken with different clients and in different geographies
- Openness and willingness to travel and spend over 50% of the time on on-site assignments
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree or higher in Gender Studies, Climate Change, Environmental Sciences, International Development, or related fields. Proven track record of working on mainstreaming gender in climate change projects and policies.
Key Skills (Please Mention Three to Five skills from the JD on the right):
- Exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills, with published work on gender and climate change. Gender assessments and gender analysis.
- Experience developing collaterals and toolkits and organizing capacity development initiatives on gender equality, such as training workshops and seminars, contributes to advancing gender responsive climate change.
- Having public sector and international organizations experience will be an advantage.
Any other requirement:
- Strong familiarity with global climate change frameworks (e.g., UNFCCC, Paris Agreement, SDGs) and gender-focused action plans.
