Senior Analyst - Economist - Macroeconomics

Position - Economist / Senior Analyst / Macroeconomics / Gurgaon.

Job Purpose - 

- The role is primarily responsible for macroeconomic data analysis and report writing.

Key Responsibilities - 

1. Contributing to the current macroeconomic research publications

- Contributing to the preparation of comprehensive, analytical research reports which include annual publications (expectations and analysis of the union budget); quarterly publications (GDP, Economic Outlook and Macroeconomic Trends, Project activity note, Financial Markets and Banking Update); bi-monthly reports (RBI policy); and monthly reports (industrial production, status of lead indicators, retail inflation and wholesale inflation).

2. Producing thematic research reports.

- Produce thematic research reports based on evolving and relevant macroeconomic and policy issues.

3. Tracking important global economic events, developments and indicators.

4. Contributing to creation of content for media initiatives.

Job Requirements

- Ensuring quality check of the work deliverables.

- Taking primary responsibility for the quality of reports.

- Providing guidance to peers.

Qualifications

Masters in Economics or Econometrics / MAB.

Experience

2 to 6 years experience of analyzing macroeconomic variables.

- Ability to work with vast data sets.

- Quick turnaround to data releases.
