Senior Analyst

Position Overview:

- We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our high-performing deal execution team.

- This is a critical front-line role offering full exposure to live deal cycles including financial modeling, client and investor management, documentation, and due diligence.

- You will work closely with senior leadership and clients while gaining hands-on experience in executing strategic transactions across sectors and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Execution:

- Create and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).

- Lead the preparation of high-quality investment memorandums, pitch books, teasers, and investor presentations.

- Perform financial benchmarking, industry analysis, and strategic assessments for live mandates.

Client Engagement:

- Work directly with client management teams to gather necessary documentation and financial information.

- Manage ongoing communication to align on data requests and ensure readiness for investor engagements.

- Build strong relationships with clients through proactive updates and value-driven interactions.

Investor & Banker Coordination:

- Liaise with private equity investors, banks, and strategic players to address initial queries and manage information flow.

- Coordinate diligence requests and ensure timely delivery of accurate documentation.

- Organize and support meetings, roadshows, and investor discussions.

Due Diligence & Compliance:

- Support and coordinate due diligence processes involving Big 4 firms, legal counsels, valuation experts, and investor teams.

- Ensure that all diligence workflows are progressing smoothly and are well-documented.

Internal Quality Control & Timelines:

- Review and approve deliverables prepared by junior analysts, ensuring high-quality outputs.

- Monitor and track project timelines to ensure critical milestones are met without compromise.

Team Mentorship:

- Guide analysts and interns on technical topics like modeling, research, and presentation formatting.

- Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.

Business Development Support:

- Assist senior leadership with research materials, industry overviews, and pitch decks for new opportunities.

- Contribute insights and data to help evaluate potential deals or clients.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

- MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant (CA), or CFA Charter holder (preferred)

Experience:

- Minimum 8 years of total experience with at least 3 years in investment banking or corporate finance advisory.

- Proven experience in handling financial modeling, client interactions, and transaction documentation.

- Prior exposure to investor/banker coordination, especially in mid to large-cap deals.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong financial modeling skills and deep understanding of corporate valuation techniques.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools used in IB environments.

- Excellent command of written and spoken English for client and investor communication.

- Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

- High degree of self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

- A go-getter attitude with a strong desire to build a long-term career in investment banking.

- Sound knowledge of multiple industries, financial instruments, and regulatory frameworks.
