Assignment Brief :

- Position Title Sr Credit Ratings Analyst Financial Sector Ratings.

Department Ratings :

Location : Mumbai

- Nature of Work Regular work from office.

Job Purpose :

- The role is primarily responsible for assessing credit worthiness of companies through analyzing financial statements and preparing ratings report.

- The role provides subject matter expertise to the team and is responsible for handling complex reports.

Contributing to Research :

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyzing financial statements, performance and trend analysis for assessing the credit worthiness of the company.

- Independently handling rating assignments for entities of varying sizes and preparing reports and rationale for the assigned ratings.

- Preparing rating report by including profile of the rated company, key rating considerations, credit risk assessment, ratio analysis like proficiency, turnover & solvency, financial projection/modeling, operational & industry analysis.

- Adhering to standard operating procedure & policies.

- Conducting research on the industry in which the company is operating and keeping a track on the performance of the industry as a whole.

- Analyzing the business model, identifying strengths, weakness, risks, understanding the revenue models and the corporate structure of the businesses.

- Ensuring quality check of the work deliverables.

- Assist senior analysts in areas related to credit evaluation and monitoring.

- Providing guidance to peers.

Qualifications and Functional Competencies :

- Preferably a CA (1st Attempt), or an MBA from Tier 1 /2 /3 with experience in Mid / large corporate analysis of Real Estate Sector.

- Senior Analyst role 4 to 8 years experience of analyzing.

- Ability to understand the business of clients.

- Ability to analyze financial statements.

- Good understanding of the financial and banking sector.

- Analytical bent of mind.

- Ability to create impact through the expertise.

- Good report writing skills.

- Good communication skills.
