Senior Analyst - Credit Analysis for [Mutual Funds/Hedge Funds/Pension Funds/Financial Institution]

We are looking for candidates who has experience in Credit Analysis/Credit Review/Credit Rating for Financial Institution/Banks/Mutual Funds/Hedge Funds/Pension Funds.

Job Location - Mumbai Location.

1. Carry-out credit review of Counterparties in the US fund's portfolio, which includes investment advisors, mutual funds, pension funds, and Hedge funds, Financial Instutution, Banks. Credit reviews are to be on an annual/semi-annual basis, along with peer and sector reviews at appropriate frequency

2. Monitor limit utilization and limit excesses for counterparties in the portfolio

3. Monitor the performance of Nomura Counterparties and also closely track developments related to Counterparty, industry, regulations, etc. and take appropriate action as necessary

4. Participating in ad-hoc projects e.g. the development of score cards, preparing credit updates for senior management, etc.

5. Update and monitor Hedge Fund performance and AUM in tracker, and generate monthly reporting

Key Skills:

1. 2 to 4 years- experience in writing credit rating reviews on Financial institutions (Banks and/or Insurance companies)

2. Professional degree holders such as CAs (1st attempt), or MBAs from reputed institutes

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must

4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

5. Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team oriented environment

6. Proficiency in MS Office
