About FI team :

The Financial Intelligence (FI) team works in close coordination with Finance Directors and Business Management teams across global major financial centers such as New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo etc. FI team is responsible for formulation of business plans and strategy, relationship management, financial MIS, performance MIS, risk MIS, client analytics, human capital MIS, analysis of cost and revenue trends, oversight over infrastructure and service providers etc. The FI function is an integral part of the Corporate and Investment Banking team and carries out several key activities for the Bank.

Job Summary :

- The Corporate Finance (CF) dedicated Financial Intelligence resource will be a key part of the CF CFO community, responsible for the creation, ownership and integrity of key management information across all aspects of the CF products.

- We are looking to recruit a person to play an important role for the CF CFO team with direct face off to critical senior stakeholders of CF Management team. The individual will be responsible for preparing analysis, models, reports, presentations for the Management team.

- The role will also involve regular interaction with rest of the Financial Intelligence offshore team responsible for reporting and analysis on the financial and non financial processes.

- The successful candidate should have experience in financial analysis and financial systems, experience in managing and developing individuals / teams and be able to present to senior management.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Working in close coordination with CF Finance Directors/ Managers and Business Managers across products and regions globally to cater to business requirements

- Work on Global Projects & Initiatives to support the FD / FMs in the CFO team which may be very diverse and varied.

- Prepare critical Management reports, cost and revenue analysis, models, and presentations for the senior stakeholders assisting them in key decision making

- Initiate, design and socialize templates to prepare monthly and quarterly rolling cost forecast and annual budget for Global CF team

- Work with the FM's to identify and implement improvements to the way in which different processes works

- Provide value added commentary, be proactive about understanding various business issues and their resolution, continue to develop standardized meaningful MIS as well as develop meaningful operational metrics

- Act as a resource to facilitate complex problem solving and issue resolution

Job Requirements :

- Strong English skills required. Ability to communicate clearly with regional and global business managers (both verbal and written communication)

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, strong Excel (data manipulation, analysis, modelling); PowerPoint; Access a plus

- Post Graduate degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration

- Experience of working in KPI-driven, performance-metric focused, timeliness and quality focused

- Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, detail orientation, service commitment, solid organizational & interpersonal skills

- Logical and structured thinking, Intellectual curiosity and ambition

- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines.
