Description
- Provide PMO support across Group Services, ensuring that project managers maintain their project data appropriately to meet reporting needs, critical messaging on project progress and risks are appropriately communicated and facilitate project meetings as required
- Own and manage the project tracker (based in SharePoint and Power BI) ensuring hygiene of the tool as a whole and that the data is presentable to drive meaningful discussion
- Provide direct support to senior management, giving clear visibility on in progress and pipeline projects and ideas, facilitating ease of prioritisation of projects and demand management across teams
- Work with new areas of shared services to incorporate a central approach to the management and tracking of projects into their service lines and subsequently designing, managing and executing any deployment
- Build strong working relationships with project managers and leaders in Group Services, allowing for clear expectations of how projects are managed and reported and ensuring all reporting deliverables are met
- Provide project management subject matter expertise to support project managers as appropriate and drive successful outcomes
- Work closely with Group Services Business Partners to ensure consistent global approach
- Provide flexible ad hoc project leadership / support for Group Services
Profile
- Qualified CA/MBA (Finance) with overall 7+ years in a global organization with multi-cultural discipline
- Strong PMO experience into direct project management , or a clearly structured approach to work and prioritization of activities with an appetite to develop
- The ability to quickly build strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
- Experience using SharePoint and Power BI, or an appetite to quickly develop mastery of these tools
- A business improvement mindset and skills - you'll be a problem solver, seek relevant information to analyze issues and problems to produce effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills and written, presentation and reporting skills (presentation, status reports, KPIs, fact based analysis etc)
- The ability to work independently and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong skills in MS Office suite
- Ability to think strategically and embrace and drive change
