Job Description:

We are seeking for a senior advisor to our organization with deep knowledge and unmatched experience in Banking/Government in India

As the Advisor, you will support us in formulating key mission and strategic goals of our group in the Region, help build ambitious but feasible business development plans, advice on their execution, as well as jointly advocate interests of our organization with senior government, banking and industry officials.

Responsibilities:

- Help develop and execute strategies to promote our organization's goals and objectives.

- Monitor legislative and regulatory activities at the local, state, and federal levels, as well as developments in banking sector, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.

- Maintain relationships with government officials, policymakers, banks' executives, and other key influencers to advocate for our organization's interests.

- Represent our organization at meetings, hearings, and other relevant events so that our concerns are addressed.

- Share research and analysis (whenever access is available) on government and banking sector policies, initiatives, and trends that may impact our organization.

- Share industry best practices and trends in government affairs and banking to continuously improve our strategies and approaches.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of government processes, legislative and regulatory frameworks, and public policy issues.

- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and influence decision-makers.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful government affairs strategies.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

- Critical-thinking abilities to navigate complex government processes and issues.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 20 years of experience in banking/government affairs, public policy,

- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies affecting the industry.

- Previous experience working with banking/government officials and policymakers at various levels.
