Education Requirement ;
- Mandatory - Actuary or close to completion.
- Mandatory - Implementation experience of life insurance accounting, esp. IFRS 17.
- Preferred - Accounting qualification and Financial Reporting experience
Job Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the Board of Directors and Oversee and assist in transition to IFRS and ensure alignment of transition with the global guidelines of the Parent organization in relation to the transition
- Lead the financial reporting of the business to the parent organization
- Prepare the budget of the business as per the budgeting calendar of the parent organization
- Lead and coordinate specific projects related to financial reporting, M&A etc. with the teams at business
- Build relationships and work closely with the financial reporting teams of the Business and ensure coordinated approach in various financial reporting matters.
