We have challenging opportunities in Actuarial field with one of the leading player in the Global Insurance Market.
Role: Actuarial Analyst: 0-2 yrs
Senior Actuarial Analyst: 2-4 yrs
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to work requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage one’s own workflow effectively.
- Attend and participate in local technical and client specific training sessions.
- Attend and participate in local management meetings.
- Produce clear and accurate documentation of projects.
- Ensure appropriate legislative and regulatory standards are met.
- Develop an understanding of the pension environment.
- Keep line manager informed of work progress and seek support and guidance where appropriate.
- Compliance to data protection requirements
Client Service
- Work closely with the onshore client teams to understand client requirements to ensure a comprehensive valuation project is delivered.
- Develop good working relationships with equivalent Actuarial Team Members to ensure understanding of client needs and demands.
- Undertake data manipulation in preparation for valuation programs. Adhere to data security guidelines.
- Document all work projects
- Ensure regular interaction with the assigned client teams through phone, instant messenger, email, webcam/video conferencing etc
Operational Responsibilities
- Completes timesheets promptly and accurately.
- Update all projects in Logbook.
- Ensure that all agreed deadlines & timelines are met
- Ensure all work is completed to a high quality
Technical
Up to 2 (for analyst) and up to 4 yrs (for Sr. Analyst) years of experience within an actuarial team and a basic understanding of technical actuarial (ideally pensions) issues.
