Managerial Responsibilities : Applicable for Team Handling roles.
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment, encouraging professional development and continuous improvement.
Functional Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including general accounting and accounts payable.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with audit requirements. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Establish and maintain strong internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial records. Conduct periodic reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and implement improvements as necessary.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for automation and leverage technology to streamline workflows and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Ensure timely reporting of financial information and management reports including monthly presentations.
