Senior Accountant/Finance Manager

Position Overview:

The Accounts & Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the accounts and finance team and the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company. This includes oversight of the accounting, audits, financial reporting, ensuring compliance with SEBI IA regulations, etc. The ideal candidate will have team management experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Overseeing the day to day accounting activities on Tally and excel.

- Making accurate and timely GST payments, Prof. Tax filing, TDS filing , TDS returns.Salary and payroll processing

- Treasury and efficient cash management

- Helping with finalization and IT return filings with audit team

- Attendance of meetings with audit teams

- General banking operations, including visiting bank officials

- Invoicing of clients basis agreed fee models

- MIS and other business reporting and analysis

- Providing support to other teams and to auditors - both external and internal auditors

- Management and follow up of receivables and revenues

- Handling team projects and initiatives

- Development and setting up of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for streamlining business operations and processes

- Management and upkeep of technology, billing, accounting and related software

- General office Administration, including technology items coordination with multiple vendors

Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA- Semi qualified, MBA, M.Com) is highly preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles, ideally within the financial services or banking industry.

- Team handling experience is a must

- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.

- Experience with accounting software (Tally)
