JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Create a road-map for business development in Consumer Durables & Packaging segment

2. Create a Consumer Durables & Packaging segment specific database of current and potential customers; products & applications; emerging trends in North Region

3. Proactively engage with key customers & stakeholders, and through industry forums, create arenas for interacting with downstream influencers, to capture new business opportunities

4. Facilitate actions on the identified business opportunities along with Sales colleagues, handover for regular business once commercial supplies are established.


5. Responsible for guiding and facilitating regional NBD/AE/PDQC in the study for business opportunities (All regions)

6. New Product development and innovative solutions. Proactive planning and identification of new products - Futuristic. Value Proposition for competitive edge

Envisaging possible changes in usage and enhancing usage of steel. Critical Tasks

MANDATORY- KRAs

a. Strengthen Consumer Durables & Packaging segment market research process and ensure market intelligence inputs relevant for new business development including Customer Visits.


b. Identification & techno-commercial evaluation of new business opportunities in line with existing capabilities, ongoing capacity expansion and future growth plans.


c. Develop roadmap in the form of a segment specific strategy document with short term, medium term and long term actions, aligned to the growth plans with an overall goal to optimize product mix and margins.


d. Securing a differentiated value proposition for JSW products vis-a-vis competition.

Decision making authority (Decisions expected)

1) Critical techno-commercial analysis of new business opportunities

2) Prioritization of Business opportunities to focus on timely participation in major new products/projects

3) Scoping and execution of market research projects and planning the budget for the same

4) Techno-commercial assessment & Cost-Benefit analysis of new opportunities
