Key Functional Areas of Responsibility
Create original and unique stories and content that is share worthy and communicate key messages through bloggers, v-loggers as well as other media.
Build and develop strong media relationships. It is mandatory that the right candidate for this role has pre-existing media relationships, specially for the tech, startup and business media and journalists
Ability to get backlinks from PR stories to the website and the PlayStore through paid as well as organic means
Participate in industry and exclusive stories across Print, Digital and other electronic mediums for establishing a strong brand presence and driving a thought leadership in the space
Develop and execute corporate communication plan for the brand
Represent the brand in the region, at events, seminars and amidst partners
Support Crisis communications efforts of the company if any
Own execution of all strategic initiatives that can create a strong brand influence across stakeholder segments in the given region
Liaise with PR agency on day to day basis for driving messaging and monitoring competitors
Measuring Online Reputation and ensuring negative feedback is escalated and resolved
Professional Competencies:
- Past experience of handling PR for Mobile apps / Tech or ecommerce brands
- Existing blogger and v-logger relations are a must for this role
- Strong command of English and good writing skills to draft press releases as well as media stories
- Aggressive go-getter with ability to approach and forge relationships with new bloggers, media and a key result oriented brand placement
- 3-5 yrs yrs of PR experience in a fast-paced corporate, start-up or agency
- Hands-on in project managing multiple campaigns
- An upto the minute approach- can quickly learn/adapt on the move
- Never say no attitude- eager to take up new challenges and initiatives
