PURPOSE OF ROLE:
- To oversee and manage a team of SOC service Delivery Managers on a day to day basis ensuring that zone governance.
- To act as the services delivery manager for America's (North, Middle & South), also be an interface with various vendors providing services to SOC
- Ensure service delivery in line with ITIL methodology and industry best practices.
- To act as an escalation point of contact for issues and act as a coordination lead involving all the zones globally in case of a Severity 0 or 1 related issues or any new cyber-attack.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operational governance and oversee the delivery of services from SOC including
- Review existing ITIL processes and framework and identify areas of improvements, efficiencies and work with MSSP for appropriate implementation.
- Be the escalation point of operations, Financial accountabilities
- People development with a focus on building efficient teams, training needs, participation in talent and performance reviews.
- Interface with the project teams, Manage SOC driven projects
- Take a lead to coordinate and manage with the team cyber-attacks, complex problems.
- Conduct vendor services reviews along with operations teams and work closely with contracts teams
- Ensure discipline and consistency of all Zone related routines, also ensuring that high quality and insightful reporting is in place when presenting the weekly / monthly stats to the Zones.
Previous work experience required
- At least 12 - 15 years in IT service delivery, preferably from CPG or consulting domain.
- Experience in IT / Security operations, preferably from CPG or consulting domain (experience in running 24 x 7 operations will be a plus).
- Experience in people management, development and in managing vendors.
- Experience in working with global functions and teams.
- Hand on experience with at least one of the technologies / platforms around end point protection, Content and Email filtering, Perimeter Security and Privileged Access Management.
IT skills required
- Microsoft Office (mandatory, including expertise in excel and power point)
- ITIL Certification
- CISSP or CISM (Desirable)
- ITIL certification in Service Lifecycle
- PMP or PRINCE II would be an added advantage
