Job Description:
- The Cyber Security Competency Manager is responsible for defining, managing and delivering a comprehensive portfolio of cyber security services and setting the strategic direction for the development of this line of business.
- Develop an outstanding, high-performing team of professionals, which includes delivery consultants, architects and security domain experts and specialized testing, monitoring and maintenance personnel.
- Build relationships with end clients, translate their business problems into practical solutions, and drive the growth of the Competency through account focus and service differentiation.
- Work with Client Services & Geo leaders to develop long term vision, technology road map, and annual goals for the Cyber Security Competency and to Sonata's Clients. Build a distinguished portfolio of advanced cyber security services.
- Develop intellectual property, including methodologies, solutions, accelerators and tools to enable the Competency to be recognized as a leader in the field of cyber security.
- Build strategic and collaborative ecosystem partnerships with alliances.
- The Competency Manager is required to work and collaborate closely with peers across Competency's to create leading edge, innovative yet pragmatic solutions for customers.
- Expected to be versatile who will handle Competency development, pre-sales function, customer interactions, technical delivery ownership, willingness to learn emerging technologies and build next generation Infosec solutions.
Experience:
- Experience in various security technologies including Security Operations with SIEM (Azure Sentinel, McAfee, ArcSight, RSA, Q Radar, etc), Identity & Access Management Solutions, End Point Security Solutions & Data Loss Prevention Solutions. Should have delivered similar solutions
- Should have in depth understanding of security-relevant industry standards and practices, such as ISO 2700x series, COBIT, NIST, etc.
- Experience in computer forensics and data analysis; Practices & procedures related to the investigation and response to network/computer intrusions and data theft.
- Proven experience in managing the complete delivery lifecycle of security engagements, right from the pre-sales stage starting with the identification of opportunities and initial scoping through to the final delivery and signoff. Should have also implemented programs to provide post-cutover maintenance and operations support.
- Must possess adequate knowledge of industry best practice and tools
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science or related technical fields
- Industry certifications such as CISA, CISSM, CISA, SANS Certifications, ITIL etc are a plus.
- Any prior experience of managing OEMs and Information Security partnerships is a strong plus
- Knowledge and wide exposure to Information Security technologies and trends, Strong communication, presentation and customer management skills are a must
