Security Architect - IT

We have an opportunity for a Security Architect for one of our client.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

- Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.

- Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.

- Architect and produce security architecture documentation in line with security standards.

- Detailed technical security reporting to Management operating companies and appropriate stakeholders

- Continually maintain and improve technical capabilities through individual development activities, accreditation and certifications to remain constantly prepared to challenge the ever-evolving cyber threat

Skills /abilities:

- Must have total experience of 14+ yrs and should have been in information security domain > 7 years, network and/or firewall engineering, system administration, design and implementation or related field > 5 years. Experience in security analysis and SIEM content development > 3 years, Experience in penetration testing > 2 years

- Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability

- Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security

- Good working knowledge of IT risks and experience implementing security solutions

- Excellent understanding of Security concepts and standards.

- Good knowledge of Network security, Cloud security, Infra structure security, endpoint security, IAM etc

- Knowledge of typical security devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, AV and End Point security, Web Application Firewalls, anti-spam systems, event correlation systems, etc.

- Knowledge of network technologies, Windows and Linux administration with understanding of well-known application like SAP, Service Now

- Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook

- Excellent analytical skills and out-of-the box thinking

- Excellent communication and documentation capabilities
