Operations Head - Insurance
SUMMARY OF THE JOB :
- The position is within a part of a broader client servicing team. The role would involve to lead entire team of Operations Management, Client Servicing and Process Excellence.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Act as the lead for all operational activities
- Lead the team of policy servicing processes which includes Endorsement/ Refund/cancellation
- Prepare, analyse and present department statistic to the management team
- Participates in the development and implementation of the department and servicing plans, in line with the corporate objectives
- Manage the implementation of the insurance operations objectives, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards
- Manage and lead a team of client servicing for timely claims and endorsement processes
- Direct and manage the implementation of policy administration and quality assurance of documentation of policies issued/policies amended/renewed/closed and other related transactions
- Claims review on timely basis for addressing customer grievances arising out of claims decision
- Analysis claim experience and provide feedback to different channels on a periodic basis
- Liaision with TPAs, insurers, clients and internal functions to define and improve operations processes
CANDIDATE BACKGROUND :
- Post-graduate degree (preferred) with ideally 12-18 years of experience
- Strong project management skills in the insurance industry
- Previous experience in insurance operations and proven deliver operational excellency
