India’s leading security seals and solutions provider is looking to add a future CEO to its team. To begin with, the candidate will be responsible for overall business development and sales (P&L responsibility, client development, relationship management, client servicing) and to provide strategic and operational leadership. Experience dealing with public sector entities is a plus.
However, over time, we would like the ideal candidate to grow into the role of a CEO or Managing Director with equity ownership taking full P&L responsibility and overseeing all aspects of sales, operations, finance and HR.
Key accountabilities of the Business Development Manager role:
- Sales: Drive sales of existing products to existing and new accounts
- Market and product development: Develop new clients for existing products; develop new products to cater to existing and new clients
- Marketing: Decide on pricing, value proposition to grow sales
- Channel management: Manage sales agents and develop agent network
- Strategic initiatives: Lead strategic initiatives from time to time (for example, new product development or alliance management)
- Strategic and business planning: Build out the short and long term strategic plan and initiatives to achieve; design and generate relevant management dashboards and MIS to improve sales and operations
- Operations: Provide leadership and input on operations elements; inputs to ensure production is consistent with highest standards and efficient costing
Over time, and once proven, the candidate will have an opportunity to take on full P&L responsibility in the capacity of a CEO or Managing Director and will get equity ownership in the company.
