Job Purpose:


- Guide, support and drive the sales, marketing, and customer retention strategies for the assigned area, product line and market segment, focusing on Residential and Commercial developers.


- Ensure the achievement of sales targets by managing the team effectively, driving strategic planning and enhancing customer engagement.


Role & responsibilities:


- Actively seek and follow up on sales leads; conduct visits to both existing and potential customers to expand the customer base.


- Evaluate customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services to meet their needs effectively.


- Manage order booking processes and ensure the achievement of sales targets for the assigned area, product line, and market segment.


- Address complex customer inquiries, negotiate prices and delivery schedules within authorized limits, and finalize sales orders to meet revenue goals.


- Identify, research and reach out to prospective customers, promoting positive relationships to drive future sales and repeat business


- Refer sales leads, customer feedback and competitor activity information to relevant internal contacts to adapt to market changes and customer demands.


- Create long-term sales strategies for key customers and accounts, continuously monitoring and adjusting activities to achieve objectives.


- Collaborate with the application engineering team to provide customers with information on new applications and products, ensuring seamless integration.


- Interact with state ministries and regulators on policy matters related to our products, influencing policy decisions favorably.


- Oversee the approval process of products from utilities, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals.


Preferred candidate profile


- BE or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Power.


- 8-12 years of experience in sales & marketing of electrical equipment (preferably meters).


- Excellent communication skills (Verbal & written).


- Candidate must have worked in electrical/electronics manufacturing.


- Able to relocate to Gurgaon/Kolkata/Chandigarh/Chennai.
