Section Manager -Financial Reporting and Analysis

We have been mandated by a global conglomerate into Automation & Field Instrumentation Business for the position mentioned below.

Position Name : Section Manager-Financial Reporting and Analysis

Location of the position : Pune

Qualification : CA

Experience : 2 to 6 yrs

Purpose of the Job :

The role will be responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures.

Responsible for distribution of various internal financial statements to management, maintenance of the organizations general ledger, and ensure all transactions and documentation stays in sync with US GAAP and Indian Accounting .

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Responsible for monthly MIS, consolidation of Books in Oracle and closure of Books of Accounts

- Scrutinize General Ledger and provide support in US GAAP entries

- Analyze cost drivers for all offices across India

- Work with plants on rolling forecast for cost parameters

- Supervise financial indicators of Trade Working Capital

- Responsible for collecting, analyzing and compiling information for annual budget

- Key role in controlling fixed cost budget

- Provide financial information and analytical support to internal customers as and when required

- Support in annual cost audit and preparation of long-range Profit Plans .

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Degree holder with Qualified Chartered Accountant

- 3-6 years of proven experience with knowledge of cost accounting will be an advantage

- Working experience in ERP environment (Oracle preferred)

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook

- Good teammate with outstanding written & verbal communication skills

- Must have analytical ability and clarity of thought
